The
“Gorni Kramer Quartet” was formed in 2003 and its members - Sebastiano Zorza on the
accordion, Marko Feri on guitar, Alexander
Paunovic on bass and Giorgio
Fritsch on drums – are all well established classical musicians. The
group performs a modern revisitation of the great italian accordianist's
most well known songs, made famous by hit television programs which have
become part of italian television history, such as: "Studio 1",
"Il Musichiere", "Senza rete",
"Canzonissima". The "GFQ" rich and diverse repertoire
also includes songs by other important italian song writers such as Ferrari
and Principe and the trio's sound is often reminiscent of the colours and
the atmosphere of french variety music of the 50s to the 70s.
The
group has recorder two CDs: "Notes Vagabondes-LIVE" (Sinfonica,
2005) and “Modulante” (Falcon Music, 2008).
